Croquetas de Jamon Serrano

Ingredients

200g of jamon serrano, cut into small squares

2-3 eggs

Panko breadcrums and seasoning

1 liter of milk

80g of flour 

100g of butter

A pinch of nutmeg 

A pinch of salt. 

Directions:

In low heat, melt butter.

Once melted, mix in the flour. 

Add half a cup of milk, mix, then add the rest. 

Add the nutmeg, salt, and ham. 

Stir until thick, then leave it in the fridge until firm. 

Scoop out the batter and make small balls, the size of a lemon. 

Have eggs in one bowl and seasoned breadcrumbs in another. 

Dunk the thick batter into the egg, the panko, then fry until golden.
